Meet Frankie Bean, a charming 2-year-old, 60-pound Coonhound and Rhodesian Ridgeback mix who's searching for his forever family! Frankie Bean is a dog who truly believes you hung the moon. He greets everyone with enthusiastic tail wags, big head nudges, and morning hugs. He's incredibly intuitive and will quietly offer comfort by just being near. In return for your love, you'll get to experience some of the softest, most velvety fur you've ever felt – cuddling Frankie is like hugging a luxury blanket!
Frankie Bean thrives on human companionship and wants to be part of every moment. He's happy to nap in the office while you work, guard the bathroom door, or lay at your feet while you cook. He also loves to get out and move, making him an excellent walking and running partner for anyone looking to stay active.
Ideal Home
Frankie Bean would love a home where he can be close to his people. He's great with other dogs and children, but he has a firm no-cats policy.
Ongoing Health
Frankie Bean is currently undergoing treatment for heartworm disease. The rescue will cover the remainder of his care to ensure he makes a full recovery.
Training & Support
Frankie Bean is fully housetrained and crate trained, and he behaves beautifully in the house. While he's eager to please and food-motivated, his leash manners could use some polishing, and he can get a little overexcited sometimes, with his front paws occasionally forgetting they belong on the ground. He's also working on his kennel confidence and gets anxious when he can't see his humans, so he does best when he can stay close.
