Comet

Meet Comet, a sweet 2-year-old spayed Shepsky who is ready to find her forever home! Comet is a beautiful girl who was formerly feral and has made incredible progress with a trainer. She's now looking for a patient and understanding person to help her fully blossom. Comet is a quiet girl inside and enjoys a predictable routine. She walks well on a leash and has no issues with separation anxiety. While she accepts pets, she's still learning to actively seek them out. Due to her past, she's a flight risk in a yard and would do best in an apartment. She also prefers to be the only dog and is not a fan of cats. She was a wonderful and protective mom to her puppies, and now it's her turn to be cherished!

Ideal Home

Comet would thrive in an apartment setting where she doesn't have access to a yard, as she can be a flight risk. A home that provides a consistent routine and enjoys walks would be perfect for her. She needs to be the only pet in the household and would do best with an adult-only home.

Ongoing Health

Comet is spayed, vaccinated, and has no known special health needs.

Training & Support

Comet has made excellent progress with a trainer and is quiet and well-behaved on walks. She is working on accepting pets and would benefit from continued positive reinforcement and patience. She needs to be the only pet in the home and should not be in a home with cats.
