Hi, I’m Lady! I'm a sweet girl around 2-4 years old, and I'm finally getting my chance at a fresh start. I came from a difficult situation and Arctic Rescue stepped in just in time to help me safely welcome my 12 puppies into the world. For so long, my life was about caring for everyone else—but now my mama days are behind me, and it's finally my turn to be the one getting all the love.
These days, I’m discovering what it means to simply be a dog. I love chasing scents through the yard, soaking up the sunshine, collecting squeaky toys, and happily shadowing my favorite person wherever they go. I’ve got the heart of a true Velcro dog and I’m one of the snuggliest companions you could ask for.
I’m a medium-energy girl who adores being close to my people. I’m very cuddly, affectionate, and happiest when I’m included in whatever my family is doing—whether that’s hanging out at home, going for walks, or hopping in the car for an adventure. I love attention, snuggles, sniffy walks, and just being part of the action. I also have a goofy side and some very entertaining husky “talking” to share!
I get along wonderfully with other dogs and have made some great dog friends, though I don’t necessarily need another dog in the home as long as I have regular companionship and enrichment. I especially enjoy being part of group life, even down to mealtime—I really don’t like being left out.
Ideal Home
I can be gentle and friendly with children with adult supervision, and overall I’m a very sweet, social girl who just wants to be part of a family. As a Northern Breed, I have higher exercise, training, and care requirements than other breeds. It is recommended that you thoroughly research these breeds before pursuing adoption if you do not have prior experience.

Training & Support
Like any dog learning a brand-new life, I’m still polishing a few manners and basic skills, especially when it comes to treats (they’re very exciting to me!). I can also be a bit of a counter-surfer if food is left out, so I’ll do best with continued structure and training as I settle in. I’m making progress with potty training, though I still have the occasional accident as I learn. With gentle guidance and consistency, I’m catching on more every day.
