Meet Kombangwa! This sweet 2-year-old, 19-pound girl, affectionately known as KPop, is a former street dog from Thailand who has truly blossomed into a lovely companion. Rescued by Soi Dog after being found alone with injuries, she's a testament to resilience and has embraced her new chapter with a dignified air. KPop is thoughtful, independent, and takes her time choosing her special person, but once she does, she's incredibly devoted.
She can be a little shy initially, but her loyalty and affection are boundless once she opens up. KPop adores attention and melts for belly rubs, always greeting her favorite person with morning enthusiasm, especially for walks. She relishes curious, leisurely strolls where she can explore every scent, and is a calm, quiet presence at home afterward. She sleeps soundly in her crate, which she enters willingly, and rarely barks. KPop coexists peacefully with other dogs but would also be perfectly content as an only pet, enjoying focused time with her person. She thrives on routine and familiar surroundings, preferring a "small circle, familiar routine" kind of life over busy dog parks.

KPop would thrive in a home with a single person or a couple who appreciate building a relationship over time. She prefers a small, tight-knit group of friends.

Kombangwa was treated for bite wounds on her hind leg, which have since fully healed.
Training & Support
KPop is a well-behaved companion who is happy to sleep through the night in her crate. She enjoys her walks and downtime.

Transportation
Kombangwa is located in San Diego County, CA. We are happy to consider out-of-town applications and can arrange virtual introductions. We offer monthly transport to locations in the Pacific Northwest. For other US and Canadian locations, individual transport arrangements will need to be made.
