Emirate

Emirate is a young, male, medium-sized Brindle American Staffordshire Terrier mix with a short coat. He's an incredibly active and high-energy boy who absolutely adores kids and being around people. He's also a sweetheart who loves to snuggle up in your lap! Emirate gets along well with other dogs and is generally quiet, not barking much even when he sees deer at the door. He's also a great passenger, calm and content on car rides. He loves his stuffed animals and is very food-driven, which helps with his training.

Ideal Home

Emirate would thrive in an active home where he can get plenty of exercise. While he loves to chase, he doesn't seem to want to attack, but he is not a good fit for homes with cats.

Ongoing Health

Emirate is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Emirate is currently in progress with crate training; he whines a bit at first but calms down and sleeps through the night. He's learning "sit" and "down" and is working on leash walking. His food-driven nature makes him a great candidate for positive reinforcement training!
