Bree and her sister Laura are two one-year-old souls who have faced a scary world but found courage in each other. They are perfectly midsized and full of personality, always playing together, sleeping curled up close, and finding strength side-by-side. They absolutely adore other dogs and their goofy energy truly shines when they have canine companions to zoom around the yard with. While Laura is the outgoing one, Bree has her own quiet magic. She is intelligent, expressive, and takes her time to trust, but when she does, her love is enormous. Bree may have a little Irish Terrier spark mixed with her Rhodesian Ridgeback charm. They are looking for a patient, calm home with kind voices and a family who understands that rescue dogs bloom slowly.

Ongoing Health
All known details about their health are posted on their profile and updated daily. The adoption fee for adult dogs covers age-appropriate vaccinations, microchip, spay/neuter if not yet performed, heartworm test & appropriate heartworm treatment by the rescue's vet. All dogs in our care are also kept up-to-date on HW/Flea Prevention.
Training & Support
Bree is intelligent and expressive, and may need a patient approach as she sizes up new situations.

Transporation
Take Paws Rescue saves dogs from high-kill shelters across the South, owner surrenders, and discarded dogs with uncertain futures. All of our animals live in foster homes where they are socialized, and well cared for. An application will be required to make sure it's the perfect match!
