Lucy

Lucy is a sweet 1-year-old spayed female mixed breed who came to us as a stray. She was found emaciated and anemic, but thanks to the dedicated care she's received, she's almost doubled her weight and her bloodwork has improved dramatically! Lucy absolutely adores people she meets here at the shelter, and every positive interaction helps build her trust and confidence.

Ideal Home

Lucy can be a little nervous around other dogs, and this seems to stem from fear. We're working on building her confidence through positive experiences, like supervised walks with her shelter buddy, Ralphie.

Ongoing Health

Lucy has made incredible progress with her anemia and emaciation. Her bloodwork is now dramatically improved.

Training & Support

To help Lucy continue to blossom, we highly recommend signing her up for a good basic obedience or reactive dog class. We can even recommend one to help her on her journey!
