Addie

Addie is a delightful 1 year and 4 month old female dog who came to us with her siblings when her owner could no longer care for them. Initially, Addie was understandably shy and overwhelmed, but with the love and patience of our dedicated staff and dog walkers, her sweet and playful personality is truly starting to shine! She is current on vaccinations and, once she trusts you, will shower you with affection. Watching her gain confidence and even enjoy a game of fetch has been incredibly heartwarming. Addie is ready to find her perfect forever home where she can continue to blossom.

Ideal Home

Addie would thrive in a calm, loving environment. She needs a patient and compassionate adopter who can help her settle into her new home and learn a routine.

Ongoing Health

Addie is current on vaccinations and has been spayed.

Training & Support

Addie is learning to walk on a leash and does best when her handler is gentle and allows her to lead. She has shown a wonderful transformation from being timid to enjoying play, and with continued positive reinforcement, she will continue to flourish.

Addie is located at Carteret County Humane Society in Newport, NC. We can arrange transport to approved adopters.
