Chance is a 4-year-old neutered and vaccinated Staffie mix who was rescued from an overcrowded Houston shelter after being abandoned in an apartment. He has an incredibly gentle and soulful nature, possessing an "old soul" that shines through his eyes. Chance is the perfect blend of sweet, goofy, and loving, always sporting a big smile and ready to brighten your day. He is a happy and playful companion around other dogs and gets along wonderfully with the large dogs he currently lives with, enjoying tug-of-war and rambunctious play sessions. He's a bit more polite with female dogs and loves to relax with his canine friends after playtime.
Ideal Home
Chance would do best with dogs around his size and older children who can handle his energetic play style. He would thrive in a loving home with a predictable routine, either with a semi-active family or as the beloved only dog. Cats will be a no for Chance due to his strong prey drive.

Training & Support
Chance has great house manners and is fully house-trained, letting you know when he needs to go out. He sleeps through the night and can stay home alone without issue. While he dislikes closed crates, he is happy napping in open crates or anywhere comfortable. He is a wonderful walking buddy who enjoys daily strolls and playtime. He learns routines quickly and uses a funny grunt to remind you when you're running late. He can be a little stubborn when something catches his attention, but the word "cookie" quickly reminds him of his manners. His love of treats makes him a great candidate for continued training.
