Daisy Sue is a 2-year-old, spayed female Pointer/Australian Cattle Dog mix, weighing about 35 pounds. She's a bundle of joy with adorable zoomies, a cuddly nature, and a happy-go-lucky spirit that loves other dogs. Daisy was rescued from a shelter after being returned, and she's now looking for her forever home where she can truly shine.
Ideal Home
Daisy would thrive in an active home with another friendly dog for companionship (strongly preferred). She would also do well in a home with children 10 years or older who understand how to be gentle with a shy dog. A securely fenced yard where she can play and burn off energy would be ideal. Daisy can be left loose in the house when alone and is not destructive, but it's best to keep shoes picked up as she finds them fascinating!
Ongoing Health
Daisy is generally healthy and has no known ongoing health conditions.
Training & Support
Daisy is fully house-trained with zero accidents and walks beautifully on leash, showing no reactivity to dogs, runners, or people. She is also crate-trained and sleeps soundly in her crate at night. Daisy does not have issues with resource guarding and politely shares toys and treats. She is sensitive when meeting new people, especially men, and may bark or keep her distance initially. With patience, gentle voices, and a little space, she warms up and becomes very affectionate. A calm home with a predictable routine is recommended over a busy household with lots of visitors. She is food-motivated, which makes training easier and fun.

Transportation
Daisy Sue is currently located in Houston, Texas. Once an adopter is matched, she can be transported to you on the next available transport, which runs every few weeks.
