Sol is a sweet and playful 8-month-old Labrador mix with a happy, energetic personality. She weighs 16 lbs and is expected to grow to about 32-38 lbs. Sol is social with other dogs, men, women, and strangers, approaching new people with curiosity and confidence. She loves to run, jump, and play, especially with toys like bright, fun dog balls. Sol also adores affection and happily accepts pets and cuddles. While she might be a little cautious in new situations, she is never aggressive and does not bite. Her gentle and playful nature makes her a wonderful companion for an active family. Sol is ready to grow, learn, and share her life with a loving family.
Ideal Home
A home with a fenced backyard and an active family that enjoys outdoor activities. Families should have a genuine intention to rescue a dog, understanding the needs of street animals and their requirement for protection and education. Experience in dog behavior and training is preferred, or a willingness to hire a trainer. High tolerance and patience for rescued puppies are essential.
Ongoing Health
Sol has received a spay/neuter certificate, DHPPI vaccines, rabies vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, is dewormed, and microchipped. She has also had a 4DX test, heartworm test (negative), and is on monthly Nexgard Spectra preventive protection. A health certificate and vaccine booklet are provided.
Training & Support
Sol is not house-trained. It's important to understand that rescued dogs may have experienced trauma and require an adjustment period. Patience and understanding are crucial to help her adapt, build trust, and strengthen your bond. Providing a safe and loving environment, along with a routine and clear boundaries, will help her feel secure.

- You will need to fill out an adoption form and provide photos/videos of your home.
- If it's a potential match, we will contact you for a call or video chat, introduce you to the pet, and conduct a virtual home tour.
- References will be contacted.
- Upon approval, you'll sign the adoption contract and pay the adoption fee, which covers vet care, spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip, and food.
Transporation
Sol is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico, and is ready to travel to the East Coast on our cross-country trip. Door-to-door delivery is available for a one-time transport fee of $400 USD. We organize 3-4 trips per year with a minimum of 15-20 adoptions per trip. A contracted transport company will bring pets from Mexico to Texas for US adoptions, or to the US-Canada border for Canadian adoptions, with all necessary legal documents and health certificates. You will receive real-time updates via a private Facebook Messenger group throughout the journey.
