We are in MO and shipping if needed is available. Our studs are AKC or International Champions. We have imported many of our adults from overseas, where the breed is more of a working dog and more to the breed standard, because there are more to have to compete against at shows in European countries. Here in the US there are just a few that show up at any given show, so less to compete with. Our adults are tested for VWB, Thyroid, Hips, and eyes. They are our farm working dogs on our 125+ acre farm in Missouri. They protect our farm from predators and are hard workers no matter what you have them do. This breed also make for very loyal family pets. They have an independent mind set so training started early is a MUST. They tend to not trust those not in their family, so if you need a social adult, you MUST socialize them as they grow up. Nice working and champion lines "International and American", with effaces on the more muscular larger working dog. A giant is a protector that is well rounded, bonds well with his family and they are great with children if socialized with them as they grow. They have a high prey drive which is needed in a working dog and that high prey drive is what makes them so versatile and trainable. Our Giant Schnauzers are health tested because of the rareness of the breed.
