Spork

Spork found himself at the shelter as a stray, and while we know he must have had a home at some point – it would be incredibly tough for a tiny dog to survive on the streets for 12 years! – no one came to claim him. Thankfully, one of our amazing volunteers, understanding how confusing and overwhelming a shelter can be, offered to foster this sweet senior. Through his foster home, we've learned that Spork is a champion cuddler who absolutely adores snuggling up close. He's also quite vocal about his desire for affection, and if you dare to stop petting him, he'll gently paw your hand to remind you that pets are a priority! Spork is a mellow guy who truly just wants to hang out with his person, perhaps watch some TV, and be showered with adoration.

Spork thrives with a person who enjoys his mellow nature and is ready to provide him with plenty of cuddles and attention.

Ongoing Health

Spork is a senior dog. He is also blind.

Training & Support

Spork is not house-trained and will need continued guidance and patience in this area. He’s also a bit demanding when it comes to pets, so be prepared for him to let you know when he wants more!
