Wolfie is a stunning approximately one-year-old boy who weighs 63 lbs and boasts a gorgeous, unique coat that gives him a striking coyote-like appearance. He's incredibly people-friendly and has shown no issues with children or other dogs, and he's completely unfazed by cats. Wolfie is an athletic and enthusiastic pup, rating an 8 out of 10 on the energy scale, and he truly loves to live life to the fullest through joyful play and adventures. He's a big softie who loves to give and receive kisses, hugs, and snuggles. Wolfie is also a gentle soul, even when taking high-value treats. Despite spending a significant portion of his young life in isolation, he's remarkably smart and already knows how to sit on command, showing a great understanding of communication. He's highly food-motivated and his mantra is "no crumb left behind!" While he likely has a standard prey drive, nothing unusual has been observed. Wolfie's favorite things include treats, walks, adventures, and attention, with walks and adventures often taking priority over treats. He isn't a fan of being cooped up, much like a typical husky.
Ideal Home
Wolfie would thrive in an active household or with an individual or couple who enjoys activities like hiking and is eager to engage with him.
Ongoing Health
Wolfie has no known health concerns.
Training & Support
Wolfie has never lived in a home before, so he will need some time to adjust to indoor living. With consistent structure and a slow introduction, he's expected to adapt well. He keeps his kennel clean and isn't messy, suggesting he will be a quick learner when it comes to house training with a structured routine. He walks well on a leash, initially eager to explore and smell everything, but he settles down and follows instructions without much pulling once he's had his fill. He is also well-behaved in the car.
