Willy

Meet Willy! This sweet boy has waited far too long for his chance at a loving home. Willy was found outside the shelter in March 2022, likely after being hit by a car. He arrived with a broken tail, fractured teeth, and multiple wounds, but even then, he greeted everyone with kindness. This gentle Lab mix has healed beautifully, but he does have lifelong urinary and bowel incontinence from his injuries. He doesn't let it bother him; he just wants love! Willy has the biggest heart and the brightest spirit – he just needs someone who sees past his challenges and loves him for the incredible dog he is. He's waited years for a home; maybe he's been waiting for you.

Ideal Home

Willy loves toys, fetch, people, and other dogs. He is happy, social, and has never been kenneled at the shelter.

Ongoing Health

Willy has lifelong urinary and bowel incontinence due to injuries sustained before his rescue.

Training & Support

Willy is a happy and social boy who is thriving. Guidance will be provided to his adopter on managing his incontinence.

Transportation

Willy is located near Bucerias, Mexico. Approved adopters can arrange for transport to the US and Canada, often with the help of flight companions traveling from Puerto Vallarta. For summer adoptions to Canada, transport may involve flying into the US and meeting at the border, such as Peace Arch Park.
