Emma

Emma is an almost 3-year-old, 56-pound American Staffordshire Terrier mix who has had quite the journey to find her forever home! She's learned the ropes of living in a home and being cared for, and has been a wonderful house guest in her foster home. Emma is house, crate, and leash trained. Her nature is sweet and loving, and she's very smart too! She knows many commands, including sit, stay, come, wait, leave it, shake (she even shakes ambidextrously if you say "other shake"), lie down, hug, and down.

Ideal Home

Emma needs a home with a six-foot fenced yard. A similar-sized canine sibling would be great too, as she enjoys doggie daycare. She is also great with kids. Sudden changes can make her a bit anxious, so a calm, predictable home is important. Rescue One does not adopt to outdoor-only homes.

Ongoing Health

No ongoing health issues mentioned. Her adoption fee includes her spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip with free lifetime registration.

Emma is house, crate, and leash trained and knows many commands. She hasn't met any cats, but can be cat tested if needed.
