Meet Atlas!

Atlas is a handsome 1.5-year-old Husky mix, weighing in at about 45 pounds. He was sadly found tied to a tree and abandoned, which has left him a bit sensitive and still learning to trust new people and environments. But once Atlas feels comfortable with you, he transforms into a sweet and snuggly lovebug who adores sticking close to his favorite humans. While he might not be the first to volunteer for new adventures or explore outside his comfort zone, he is incredibly affectionate with his trusted people.

Ideal Home

Atlas thrives in a home where he can feel secure and confident. He absolutely adores other dogs and would do best with a canine companion to help build his confidence. For this reason, he would prefer a home that already has another dog. Due to his sensitivity, if there are children in the home, they should be 13 years or older and able to give him the space he needs to feel comfortable.

Ongoing Health

Atlas is neutered and has no other health concerns mentioned.

Training & Support

Atlas is still learning to trust and may need a patient adopter to help him feel secure in new situations. He benefits from the companionship of other dogs to build his confidence.
