Shep

Shep is a dog with a heart of gold! Found abandoned in the Flamingos area of Bucerias, Shep is one of those dogs who immediately feels familiar, calm, gentle, and so grateful to be near people. He clearly once had a home: he knows basic commands, offers his paw for affection, and moves through the world with a quiet confidence. He thrives on three legs and gets around beautifully.

Shep is great with other dogs and thrives on being near people. He is looking for a soft place to land and a family who will never let him down again.

Ongoing Health

Shep came to us with a backleg injury, but our vet confirmed he is perfectly capable and pain-free just as he is.

Shep knows basic commands and loves giving his paw.

Transporation

Our rescue is located near Bucerias, Mexico. Approved adopters are matched with flight companions (flight angels) traveling from Puerto Vallarta. You will meet them at the airport to welcome your new pup home. During the summer months, it may be challenging to secure Canadian flight angels, so dogs may need to fly into the US and be picked up at Peace Arch Park at the border if a Canadian flight angel is unavailable.
