Big Mama

Big Mama is a 3-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier mix with a heart full of affection and a spirit for adventure! She loves going on walks, meeting new people, and is happiest when she's by your side. Big Mama was found wandering in the road and brought to safety by our rescue. She's a smart cookie who knows "sit" and "shake," is potty and crate trained, and walks beautifully on a leash. She can be a little unaware of her own strength and size when she gets excited, but once she's indoors, she's happy to lounge around. Big Mama is a survivor with so much love to give and is ready to find her forever family!

Ideal Home

Big Mama would do best in a home with male dogs, as she can be assertive with female dogs. Due to her energetic nature and occasional unawareness of her size, a home without young children would be ideal for her. She's happy to be your one and only furry friend or to live with a canine companion.

Ongoing Health

Big Mama came to us a bit on the hefty side, weighing over 70lbs. She's now at a much healthier weight of around 60lbs and is doing great!

Training & Support

Big Mama is already potty and crate trained, knows "sit" and "shake," and is a good leash walker. She's a smart girl who is eager to please!
