Meet Astarte Kennels Bichons and Barbet. Astarte Kennel was established in 1973 in Phoenix AZ. Our puppies are all raised in our home with love and care. We currently have a litter of Barbet puppies in the whelping box. The sire is a UKC and International Ch. and the Dam is an International Ch. The Barbet is fully accepted for r AKC Shows in Jan. 2021 in the Sporting Group I am a member of the UKC Barbet Club, Barbet Club of America (AKC), and Past President of the United Barbet Club. We breed our dogs for temperament and to breed type. All of our dogs are genetically tested for hips, knees and elbows and follow the ethical breeding standards of the national club. I am a certified member of the AKC Breeder with Heart designation.  Astarte kennels  males are CKC,UKC, and International Champions and our females are also UKC and International Champions and two is a CKC Grand Ch.
