Meet Abby, a 6-year-old, 15lb Chihuahua mix who is a professional squeaky ball enthusiast! Abby was cherished by her mom for over five years, but sadly, after her mom's health declined and eventually passed away, Abby found herself in need of a new loving home. She's experienced a lot of change and uncertainty, so she'll need a patient family who will let her adjust at her own pace. Trust is something Abby gives thoughtfully, but once earned, she'll be a loyal and devoted companion.

When Abby feels comfortable, the fun begins! She loves neighborhood walks, treats, and is absolutely wild about squeaky balls – she'd probably trade state secrets for one! Abby has excellent house manners; she sleeps quietly in her own bed at night, is content to sit beside you on the couch without being a clingy lap dog, and happily soaks up butt scratches.

Ideal Home

Abby would do well as your one-and-only furry friend or with other dog-friendly dogs. She is best suited for a home without small children.
