PEACHES

Peaches is a wonderful lady who has overcome so much and is now ready for the happy ending she deserves. When she first arrived at the shelter, she was heartbreakingly thin and so hungry that she even ate a sock. Thankfully, those days are behind her! With lots of care and good meals, she has gained over 25 much-needed pounds and is looking absolutely amazing. She also came to us already spayed, so it's clear she once had a loving family. Now she's hoping to find that again.

Peaches is always ready for some outdoor fun and happily leads the way to the play yard, where she enjoys exploring interesting smells. She's an independent girl who doesn't need constant entertainment, but she always appreciates gentle pets. Peaches is a medium-energy dog who isn't particularly interested in toys or treats, but she already knows several commands. If you have her attention, she'll happily sit, lie down, and even offer you a paw like the polite lady she is. Peaches has come so far and all she needs now is someone to show her that she'll never have to wonder where her next meal or her next act of kindness is coming from again.
