Meet Izzy Mae! This sweet girl is a 12-year-old, 25-pound pup, possibly a Border Collie and Boston Terrier mix. Izzy Mae is brimming with love and sweetness, and she's looking for a family to share it with. She's a laid-back, easygoing companion who enjoys being part of whatever her family is up to. Izzy Mae loves affection, gets along well with other dogs, and can always be found with a good chew toy. More than anything, she cherishes being close to her people. Her soft, velvety fur matches her gentle personality perfectly. She's a happy-go-lucky pup who approaches life with a smile and hasn't met much that bothers her.
Ideal Home
Izzy Mae gets along beautifully with dogs, cats, and children of all ages. She's looking for a home where she can be included in family activities and enjoy quiet companionship. She would love a canine sibling who doesn't mind her enthusiastic greetings and wants to be best friends immediately.
Ongoing Health
Izzy Mae is fully vetted, which includes being spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, dewormed, and microchipped. She has also been tested and treated for heartworm if necessary, and is current on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.
Training & Support
Izzy Mae is potty trained and walks nicely on a leash. She has also made great progress with crate training and now settles in easily after initial protest. She is an excellent car passenger. Izzy Mae is still learning to resist chewing on non-toy items when unsupervised, so providing appropriate chew toys is important. She also gets excited during greetings and is working on keeping all four paws on the floor.
