Chelsi

Chelsi is a 3-year-old Pitty mix who is truly the epitome of good with all kinds! She's a gentle, friendly soul with an easygoing nature and a big heart for everyone she meets. She loves people, kids, and adults alike, and does wonderfully with cats and other dogs. This sweet girl has been waiting for her forever family for a long time, and she's more than ready to find her happily ever after.

Chelsi was adopted and then returned to us due to separation anxiety. When left alone, she became destructive in the home. However, with a consistent environment and routine, she has shown great improvement. In a previous foster home, she was non-destructive when not kenneled. With patience and understanding, Chelsi is capable of succeeding with many things!

Ideal Home

Chelsi can be a bit spooky in new situations. Loud noises and cars can be overwhelming for her, and she will need to be lifted into a vehicle. These sensitivities don't change who she is at her core, they just mean she needs understanding and gentle support as she navigates the world.

Ongoing Health

Chelsi is fully vetted, spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, HW negative, and up to date on preventatives.

Training & Support

Chelsi experienced separation anxiety and destructive behavior when left alone. With a consistent routine and environment, she has shown great improvement. She will need continued patience and understanding to help her feel secure.
