Meet Ranger Journey! This handsome boy is about 2 months old and weighs approximately 8.6 lbs. We believe he might be a Pit Bull/Lab mix, but with rescue, it's always our best guess! Ranger is one of the sweetest puppies you'll ever meet, with a sleek black coat, adorable white markings, and soft puppy features. He has a gentle, easygoing personality and truly embraces the "play hard, nap harder" lifestyle. Ranger loves toys and playing with his siblings, but he also knows the importance of a good nap, often falling asleep within seconds of playtime ending! He's incredibly affectionate and happiest when receiving attention, cuddles, or simply hanging out near his humans.
Ideal Home
Ranger will need a family committed to training, socialization, routine, and plenty of patience as he grows into a confident adult dog.
Ongoing Health
Ranger is up-to-date on all vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines. He has received multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. He has also tested negative for heartworms.
Training & Support
Like all young puppies, Ranger is still learning about the world. We require adopters to begin crate training immediately upon arrival home, which aids in potty training, confidence building, and establishing healthy habits.

Transporation
Ranger is located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system. Transport is available to WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. Transport is available to Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters. There is an additional $87 surcharge for transportation due to rising costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
