Keanu is the perfect fusion of a canine with a Black Mouth Cur’s intelligence and intense loyalty, blended with a Labrador Retriever’s affection and tremendous desire to please. As you share bark park time with Keanu, you will be mesmerized by his instantly bonding, happy nature as he asks you to join him in a celebration of “the world is our playground” adventure! This 2-year-old, 54-pound boy demonstrated his playfulness with literally every squeaky toy at the bark park. Even a fluttering yellow butterfly momentarily invited his attention! He also walked over to the fence to give a welcoming hello to River, a neighborhood dog who was also enjoying a beautiful summer afternoon bark park romp. Keanu performed spontaneous sits throughout the session and revealed his alluring eye/mouth coordination skills as he successfully caught every hotdog treat tossed in his direction. He may appear to be a little anxious as you meet him at his kennel, but once in the bark park, he quickly becomes a “let’s just have some fun” canine partner.

Ideal Home

Keanu is looking for an active home where he can be a part of all your adventures. He enjoys the company of other dogs and would likely do well in a home with a canine friend.

Ongoing Health

Keanu is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Keanu is not yet house-trained and will need continued training and patience in this area. He’s a smart boy who enjoys treats and pleasing his people, which will be great assets as you teach him new things!
