Meet Gerda! She's an estimated 5-week-old Great Pyrenees mix puppy, ready to steal your heart. Gerda is part of "The Frozen Litter" and is already showing her sweet and loyal nature. She's sure to grow into a big, fluffy, and gentle companion.

Ideal Home

Gerda would thrive in a home with plenty of space, as she is expected to be an extra-large breed. She loves being outdoors and is accustomed to guarding livestock. She is not suited for apartment living.

Ongoing Health

Gerda is up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccines, flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and has been dewormed. She is currently 8-10 lbs.

Training & Support

Gerda is intelligent and well-socialized. Her breed is known to roam, so a secure outdoor space is recommended.

Application Details:

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• Adoption fee is $600, with an additional $100 refundable spay/neuter deposit, or a total of $700.
• Alternatively, a total adoption fee of $850 includes a complimentary spay/neuter voucher for Potter League Spay & Neuter Clinic in Warwick, RI (wait times typically 3-6 months).
• An additional $150 fee applies to Massachusetts residents and those adopting from a Massachusetts foster home or facility to cover quarantine and related costs.

Gerda is currently in Mississippi and is estimated to arrive in New England the weekend of June 26th.
