About Max McLovin the Certified Lover Boy

If youre looking for a dog thats equal parts lovable goofball, affectionate cuddle buddy, backyard adventure pal, and giant squishy-headed best friend... Max McLovin might honestly be your guy. This boy has the SWEETEST energy about him and carries himself with this happy lovable Im just excited to be here attitude everywhere he goes. Between the honey brown eyes, the giant pittie smile, and the way he immediately flops over for belly rubs like hes been waiting his whole life for you specifically to pet him, Max McLovin is the kind of dog that makes people fall for him really fast. He has one of those personalities that feels warm and familiar almost instantly, like reconnecting with an old friend you forgot you missed.

Watch his video and prepare to immediately start talking to him in baby voice against your will LOL: https://youtu.be/VaCssFeeINU?si=8NikvoThEv9a2oXg

Max McLovin is believed to be an American Staffy mix approximately 3 years old and currently weighs 59 lbs. He is a rescue dog and with any rescue, its always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. What we CAN guarantee though is that this boy is ridiculously affectionate and fully believes physical touch is his love language. Max is the type of dog that will lovingly place his paw on you for attention, stare up at you with those soft honey brown eyes, and melt into your side on the couch like hes trying to become one with the blankets LOL.

Max absolutely LOVES people. Like truly. Every new person he meets is greeted like an old friend he hasnt seen in years. Hes sweet, people-oriented, affectionate, and honestly has a very soft submissive demeanor with humans from everything weve seen so far. He loves attention, loves being included, and seems happiest when hes simply near his people soaking up affection and quality time. Whether hes laying beside you during movie night, hanging out while you work in the yard, or following you around the house just to see what youre doing, Max really thrives on companionship and connection.

With other dogs, Max has done great with every dog we have introduced him to so far and he definitely enjoys having dog friends around. When Max plays, he has a very classic happy-go-lucky bully boy play style. Think chase games, goofy rumble-and-tumble wrestling, full body wiggles, bouncing around like a goober, and lots of vocal grumbly play commentary LOL. Hes the type of dog that gets REALLY excited during play and can sometimes get a little carried away in the fun, so his ideal doggy match would be a confident playful female that enjoys a more rowdy play style, isnt bothered by vocal play noises, and naturally knows how to take breaks when needed. Max responds really well to dogs that help keep play balanced and easygoing. He would also do totally fine as your one-and-only dog too because at the end of the day, people are really his favorite thing anyway.

Max is crate trained, potty trained, eager to please, and very food motivated which makes training fun and rewarding with him. He already knows commands like sit and shake and honestly seems like the type of dog that would LOVE puzzle toys, snuffle mats, learning tricks, and anything that lets him use his brain while hanging out with his people. He has a really nice medium energy overall and feels very adaptable depending on the lifestyle around him. Want to go explore a trail, take a mini roadtrip, or spend time outside? Max is absolutely down. Want to spend the entire day rotting on the couch binge watching your favorite show wrapped in blankets? Max has already claimed his cuddle spot next to you LOL.

His ideal home would probably include a backyard where he can stretch his legs, sunbathe dramatically, keep you company while gardening, or just exist outside enjoying the fresh air with his people nearby. Max truly feels like one of those dogs that just wants to be included in life. He doesnt need anything extravagant to be happy. A comfy couch, people to love, snacks, belly rubs, and some sunshine? Honestly, that sounds like his dream life right there.

We are willing to test Max McLovin with anything you need in order to ensure it's a perfect match. We can make anything happen! Just let us know.
