Tasha is a gentle senior sweetheart who is searching for a quiet place to finally exhale. After being removed during an eviction, Tasha has found the shelter to be an incredibly overwhelming place. While she continues to show everyone what a kind and loving soul she is, the stress of the shelter environment has been taking a toll on her, and she urgently needs a home where she can feel safe again. Despite everything she's been through, Tasha's gentle personality shines through. She is an easy walking companion who enjoys leisurely strolls, especially if they include soft grass beneath her paws. She has lovely manners on leash, is happy to quietly explore her surroundings, and has shown calm, appropriate behavior when meeting other dogs. She has even lived peacefully alongside another senior dog in foster care, choosing to simply coexist, and has also shown calm curiosity around cats. One of Tasha's favorite simple pleasures is chasing a tennis ball. Watching her bound after it with a little extra pep in her step is a beautiful reminder that there's still a playful spirit inside this sweet girl. She also loves spending time outdoors, wandering the yard, lying in the grass, and soaking up gentle pets from the people she trusts. Tasha is a deeply affectionate dog who forms strong bonds with her people. In foster care, she settled nicely whenever her person was nearby, happily relaxing by their side. Like many dogs who have experienced major life changes, she has been struggling with anxiety after losing the only home she knew.
