Missy

Missy is a delightful 9-year-old Husky/Komondor mix with a heart full of love and energy to spare! She often acts like a puppy, always ready for a good time. Missy absolutely adores getting belly rubs and a good brushing session. She's wonderful with cats and children, though because she's a larger, sturdy girl who enjoys leaning in for affection, she'd do best with kids who can confidently steady themselves. Missy has had limited experience with dogs other than her lifelong companion, Keeba, but she is a very affectionate and social lady.

Missy and Keeba have been together their entire lives, and our dream is for them to find a home together. We understand, however, that this might not be possible, and they may need to be adopted separately. Both are incredibly sweet and share a deep bond.

Ideal Home

Missy would do well in a home that appreciates her energetic spirit. She is great with cats and children, but due to her size, she would be best suited for a family with children who are able to steady themselves when she leans in for pets.

Ongoing Health

Missy is spayed and up to date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Missy is a social and affectionate girl. Continued positive reinforcement and socialization, especially with other dogs, will help her continue to thrive.
