Brittanie

Meet Brittanie! This sweet 20-pound mixed breed girl is a true gem. Her unique blend of breeds might include beagle, dachshund, whippet, Italian greyhound, Chihuahua, and fox hound – though only a DNA test could tell for sure! At approximately 3 years old, Brittanie is steady, confident, and resilient, making her an ideal companion. She was a super mom to her litter of eight pups, delivering them under a foundation slab in Puerto Rico. Thankfully, Brittanie and her pups were safely flown to New York and have been lovingly cared for ever since by Paw Pals and Heaven Can Wait. Now that her pups are finding their forever homes, Brittanie is ready to soak up all the love for herself!

Ideal Home

Brittanie would thrive in a home filled with love and stability. She enjoys gentle companionship and adores being close to her people, so if you work from home, be prepared to share your chair! She is good with kids, dogs of all sizes, and people. We are currently testing her with cats, but we suspect she will do great!

Ongoing Health

Brittanie is a healthy girl who has been through a lot. She is house-trained and crate-trained.

Training & Support

Brittanie is a dream on a leash, quiet, and non-destructive. She's also great for grooming, enjoys car rides, and is a patient visitor at the vet. Her incredibly loving and soothing temperament has even led her to visit nursing homes to bring joy to others!
