Oakes (20260707-08)

Oakes (20260707-08) is a delightful husky mix puppy, currently about 1 month old and weighing around 7 lbs. He and his littermates were born into rescue after their mom was welcomed into a safe and loving environment. Oakes is a curious, playful pup, full of happy energy and eager to explore the world. As a husky mix, he's intelligent and will thrive with consistent training, plenty of exercise, and mental stimulation. He's ready to grow into a wonderful lifelong companion for the right family!

Ideal Home

Oakes needs a home with a yard where he can safely explore and play. He does not do well in an apartment setting. He has had no exposure to children or cats, so a home without them would be best.

Ongoing Health

Oakes is too young to be neutered currently, but this will be required by our rescue once he is old enough.

Training & Support

Oakes is working on house training and crate training. Like all puppies, he is still learning and will chew, especially when teething. He will need to be provided with safe chew toys and redirected when necessary. As a husky mix, he has a high energy level that will require an owner prepared for bursts of play followed by necessary rest periods.
