Meet Jackson! This handsome young man is all smiles on a walk or a hike, and he's looking for the perfect human to share his future adventures with. Jackson is energetic and playful, and he would do best in a home where he can be the only pet. He's been working hard with our Behavior and Training Coordinator on his foundational skills, and it's really helping him cope with shelter life. His new home will need to be one that understands the joy of continuing to help a dog thrive through consistent training and structure. Jackson is quite the athlete and can jump to the roof of his kennel, so a securely leashed walk or a high fence would be essential for keeping him safe and sound. While he may seem like a ball of energy, Jackson can also be a quiet, desk-side companion, happily laying at your feet while you work from home or watch TV. He's a wonderful dog who would love to continue exploring the world with the right owner.

A home that can provide consistent training and structure, and is committed to helping him thrive. A securely leashed walk or a high fence is essential for his safety. He would do best as the only pet in the home.

Jackson is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Jackson has been working on foundational skills with our Behavior and Training Coordinator and is making great progress. Continuing with training and structure in his new home will be key to his success.
