Zoey is a German Shepherd under 1 year old and weighing 40 lbs. She's a bundle of puppy energy, curiosity, and enthusiasm, eager to be involved in all your adventures, whether it's hiking, training, or exploring. Zoey thrives when she has a "job" and her mind and body are engaged. She came to us because her previous family loved her as a puppy but weren't prepared for the needs of a young, working-line Shepherd. Dogs like Zoey need structure, consistent training, and an active lifestyle to blossom into incredible companions. She currently plays a bit too roughly with other dogs due to her age, energy, and ongoing learning of appropriate play manners. Zoey has all the makings of an exceptional partner – loyal, intelligent, athletic, and always ready for what's next.

An experienced owner or someone familiar with high-drive working breeds who can continue her training and help her channel her abundant energy.
