Dahlia Rose is a delightful spayed female Pit Bull Terrier mix, about 4 years young. She's a loose and wiggly girl who absolutely adores people. Her happiness and snuggly nature shine when she's with her favorite humans, and she might even "bomb" your virtual meetings with her affectionate presence!

Ideal Home

Dahlia Rose will be happiest in a home where she can be your one and only pet. While she did well in shelter playgroups, she struggles and reacts poorly if she feels threatened by other dogs. There is hope that with slow, structured introductions, she might eventually enjoy being around other dogs.

Ongoing Health

Dahlia Rose is up-to-date on vaccinations and is spayed.

Training & Support

Dahlia Rose is a medium-energy girl who enjoys short bursts of play, long walks (she's working on her leash manners!), and curling up for evening relaxation. She is highly treat-motivated, which is a great asset for her crate training. She's making progress, but it will take time and patience before she's ready to be left alone due to separation anxiety, which can manifest as excessive drooling. We're also working on her recall and reinforcing basic commands like "sit," "wait," "down," and "stay."
