Navajo is a 6.5-year-old, 75-pound, neutered male Pitbull mix who is as loyal and loving as they come. He's the perfect blend of playful energy and relaxed companionship, happy to join you for a daily walk or curl up for a cozy evening. Navajo enjoys playing with other dogs, especially in smaller groups, and has shown he can adapt his play style to his companions. He's generally good at reading social cues but may need a gentle redirect if he gets a bit too excited. Navajo is polite and non-reactive on leash, though he might pull a little when first starting a walk. He is fully house-trained and crate-trained, and can be left unsupervised at home without issue. Navajo loves meeting people and has done well with children. He would do best in a home without cats, as he has shown a strong prey drive toward them. He's an excellent car rider, a favorite at the vet, and has no issues with stairs. Navajo also has a quirky habit of napping in unusual spots like laundry baskets or bathtubs! He shows no resource guarding with food, treats, toys, or people. Navajo had some dental work done upon arrival, including the removal of several damaged teeth, but his remaining teeth are healthy and he still enjoys chewing his favorite bones.
Ideal Home
Navajo would thrive in a stable, moderately active home that enjoys daily walks, occasional outings, and lots of affection. He doesn't need an ultra-active lifestyle, just consistent exercise, love, and companionship. He could do well as an only dog or with a compatible canine friend. Navajo would do best in a cat-free home.
Ongoing Health
Navajo had several damaged teeth removed, including his canines, but his remaining teeth are healthy.
