Cara

Cara is a seven-month-old spayed female mixed breed with a beautiful wavy coat that hints at some Chesapeake Bay Retriever in her lineage. Her mother, a Shepherd-Pyrenees mix, was a stray adopted by her previous owner three years ago. Cara joined our rescue at four months old. She's a smart, affectionate girl who has the perfect balance of energy and chill. Cara was spayed in February 2026 and received all necessary vaccinations, including rabies and Bordetella, and tested heartworm negative.

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• The total adoption cost is $175.
• A $75 transport fee is required to secure transport from our rescue in Texarkana, Texas, to one of our 7 designated locations.
• The remaining $100 adoption fee is due upon pickup.
• You have the option to designate someone else to pick up your pet.
