Toaster

Toaster is a delightful 2.5-year-old dog with a spirit as bouncy as his name suggests! Despite a spinal break he sustained before coming into our care, Toaster tackles life with enthusiasm and has shown remarkable improvement in his balance and coordination. He's even mastered navigating short staircases!

Ideal Home

Toaster would thrive in a home with older children, as his unique gait might be overwhelming for very young ones. He seems to enjoy the company of other dogs but has not yet met any cats.

Ongoing Health

Toaster is heartworm negative and has no other known medical concerns beyond his healed spinal injury, which affects his movement.

Training & Support

Toaster is still learning appropriate play etiquette, sometimes getting a bit too enthusiastic with his mouth, but he is never aggressive. He's showing great promise with kennel tidiness, suggesting he'll pick up housetraining quickly. He's also surprisingly mellow on a leash.
