Micaela

Micaela is a beautiful, approximately 2-year-old husky mix who has overcome immense hardship. She arrived at a high-kill shelter in Texas with a fractured jaw, significant misalignment, and bleeding gums, all of which caused her considerable pain. Thankfully, Hoardin' Huskies stepped in and provided her with the urgent veterinary care she needed. While her jaw fractures were old and couldn't be fully corrected, she received a full dental cleaning and had damaged teeth removed to relieve her pain. Micaela is also heartworm positive and is currently undergoing slow-kill treatment for a full recovery. Despite her difficult past, Micaela is a resilient and gentle soul who thrives on affection and is learning to trust again. She watches her caregivers with grateful eyes and is ready for a loving and safe forever home where she will never have to suffer again.
