Milky Way is a charming Chihuahua boy who weighs about 8.6 lbs and was born on January 10, 2026. He's a friendly and playful pup who gets along well with dogs, children, men, and women, making him a great addition to many households. Milky Way loves to run and enjoy life, and he's always ready to join in on the fun. He's generally quiet and not a big barker, but his sweet personality shines through. He sleeps in an open crate at night and sees it as his safe space. Like many young dogs, he's curious and enjoys chewing, so he'll need patience and guidance as he matures. Milky Way and his siblings were born into difficult circumstances where their care became a burden, but thankfully, they were rescued and given a second chance at a happy life. Now, Milky Way is searching for his forever family to share a lifetime of devotion, kindness, and love.
Ideal Home
Milky Way would thrive in a home with a fenced backyard and an active family that enjoys outdoor activities. He needs a family with a genuine intention to rescue a dog, understanding the needs and behaviors of street animals. Experience with dog behavior and training is highly preferred, or a commitment to hiring a trainer. High tolerance and patience are essential for this rescued puppy. He is not house-trained.
Ongoing Health
Milky Way has received a comprehensive health protocol including: Spay/Neuter Certificate, 2 DHPPI vaccines, Rabies vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, deworming, microchipping, 4DX test and certificate, negative heartworm test certificate, and monthly Nexgard Spectra preventive. He also comes with a health certificate and vaccine booklet.
Training & Support
Milky Way is not house-trained and will require patience and guidance as he continues to mature and learn.

- Submit photos/videos of your home to ensure your future furry friend will be safe.
- If it's a match, we'll schedule a call or video chat to introduce you to the pet and conduct a virtual home tour.
- We will speak with 1-2 of your references.
- If approved, you'll sign the adoption contract and pay the adoption fee, which covers vet care, spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip, and food.
Transporation
Milky Way is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico. He is available for transport to the East Coast on our next cross-country trip. A one-time transport fee of $400 USD covers door-to-door delivery. Our transport process includes scheduled trips with a partnered transport company, comprehensive paperwork (including USDA Health Certificates), real-time updates via a private Facebook Messenger group, and a final home delivery with a home review.
