Huichol

Meet Huichol! This sweet 6-month-old male is about 13 kgs and expected to be a medium to large size dog. He's vaccinated and de-wormed, ready to find his forever home. Huichol was born in foster care after his pregnant mom was rescued from the highway. He's a big baby who loves to cuddle and shower you with kisses, possessing a goofy and tender personality that will melt your heart with love and treats. He is very food-motivated and responds wonderfully to positive reinforcement training. While he can be a bit shy initially, he warms up after a few minutes.

Ideal Home

Huichol is looking for a home with older children 12 years and up, as he can be scared of small kids. He also needs a home without cats. He's friendly with other dogs and would do best with an active yard for potty training.

Huichol is vaccinated and de-wormed.

Training & Support

Huichol is still learning leash manners around other dogs and new people but is responding very well to positive training and is a good listener. He loves toys and car rides, and seems to enjoy playing in water.

Transporation

Huichol is located near Bucerias, Mexico. Approved adopters in the US and Canada can arrange for transport. For Canadian adopters, flight companions are arranged from Puerto Vallarta to meet at the airport. During summer months, if a Canadian flight companion isn't available, dogs may fly into the US and be picked up at Peace Arch Park on the border.
