Carbon Knight is a 78-pound bundle of love and affection, who seems to be completely unaware of his own size! He approaches every new person with the hope of showering them with kisses and cuddles. Carbon melts into your arms when petted and gently climbs into laps, giving the sweetest hugs and making you feel like the most important person in the world. He's a Husky/Pitty mix with a soft, charcoal-black coat, majestic ears, and a charming smile. He's the perfect work-from-home companion, content to quietly rest nearby while you work. When he's not collecting cuddles, Carbon enjoys playing with toys, especially stuffed animals, and romping with his foster siblings. He's an excellent roommate to dogs of all sizes and personalities, social, respectful, and easygoing. We're still curious how he'd do with a confident cat!
Ideal Home
Carbon dreams of a home where he can be part of a family. A fenced yard would be a bonus for playtime, but his happiness truly depends on the people he's with. He's adaptable to various living situations, from a house with a yard to a cozy apartment, as long as he's with his favorite humans. He's not looking for perfection, but for a connection and a lap to call his own.
Ongoing Health
Carbon has undergone DNA testing, which revealed his Husky/Pitty mix. All vetting is up to date and included in the adoption fee.
Training & Support
Carbon is a social and gentle dog who gets along well with other dogs. While his litter mates are being assessed for any potential behavioral needs by trainers on staff, he is a well-rounded and confident pup.

Transportation
Carbon is currently in a foster home in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (pickup in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
