Bubba Joe

Bubba Joe is a 6-7 year old Boxer mix with a heart of gold! He came to us as a stray in June 2020, a little over a year old. He was quickly adopted by a loving family with a young child, and he became that child's shadow and best friend. Sadly, this past January, we received an alert that Bubba Joe had been surrendered to Walton County Animal Shelter and was facing euthanasia. We were heartbroken and had no idea what had happened. Fortunately, he was a staff favorite at the shelter and was even used to help socialize other dogs due to his incredibly friendly nature. True to our word, we take our dogs back at any time, and after communicating with his previous adopters, we immediately jumped into action with another rescue. Bubba Joe is now back with his former foster family, ready to find his truly forever home. He is exceptionally dog, kid, and people-friendly, a true gentleman who is still very active and would thrive in a home that can provide him with daily exercise. He is incredibly loyal and deserves to be spoiled and loved for the rest of his life.

Ongoing Health

Bubba Joe is fully vetted, including being up-to-date on all vaccinations, neutered, and micro-chipped. He is heartworm negative and current on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Bubba Joe is a well-behaved boy who is friendly with everyone. He's a loyal companion looking for a home to call his own.
