Meet Chewie – A True Adventure Mama!

Chewie has had quite the journey, traveling from Manitoba to Ontario. She arrived after an incredible trip, which included a helicopter and airplane ride, and she handled it all with a gentle, curious heart. This sweet mama is still settling in and slowly showing us more of her personality each day. She warms up to people with time and kindness, and once she trusts you, you’ll see just how special she is. As a former mama, Chewie has a nurturing nature, and we're starting to see her playful, loyal side shine through. She’s still learning what it means to just be a dog—to play, relax, and trust—but she’s making beautiful progress.

Ongoing Health

The adoption fee includes vaccinations (Rabies, Leptospirosis, Distemper, Infectious Hepatitis/Adenovirus, Parvovirus, Parainfluenza, Lyme), bloodwork (heartworm, Lyme, Ehrlichia, and Anaplasma testing), deworming, spay/neuter, and microchipping. Any other necessary vet treatment or surgery while in our care is also included. All known medical information is explained to adopters prior to adoption.

Training & Support

Chewie is a gentle soul who is calm and curious, but still working on her confidence. She is ready to love and be loved. All our dogs come with a leash, collar, toy, and a small bag of kibble.

Transportation
