Panchita is a 2-3 year old, 33 lb bundle of joy looking for her forever home! She's a Creole mix with a heart of gold, always sporting a smile and eager to please. Panchita is incredibly loving, intelligent, and well-behaved, with a super sociable nature that extends to humans of all ages, children, and other dogs. She adores playtime, long walks, running, and is always up for a cuddle. This noble and charismatic girl is truly a sweetheart, showing affection, docility, and loyalty. She's also crate and leash trained. Panchita's past as a stray, where she became pregnant and had 7 puppies, is a testament to her resilience. She was rescued and brought home, where she and her pups were cared for.
Ideal Home
Panchita would thrive in a home with a fenced backyard, with active families who enjoy outdoor adventures. Her ideal home will also have owners with an open mind about the needs of rescued animals, including understanding their potential behavioral quirks and the importance of ongoing education and protection. Experience with dog behavior and training, along with high tolerance and patience for rescued pups, is preferred.
Ongoing Health
Panchita has received comprehensive veterinary care. This includes being spayed, vaccinated with DHPPI and Rabies, Bordetella, and dewormed. She is microchipped, tested negative for heartworm, and is on monthly Nexgard Spectra for flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. She has a health certificate and vaccination booklet.
Training & Support
While Panchita is generally well-behaved and obedient, it's important to note that she is not house-trained. Adopters should be prepared for this and understand that extensive efforts are made to rehabilitate the health and emotions of rescued animals, but house-training each one is an impossible task given the number of animals in foster care.
