Cooper is a charming 4-year-old, 12-pound Jack Russell Terrier mix who is brimming with love for his people. He's incredibly affectionate, loyal, and happiest when he's right by your side. Cooper enjoys being close to his family and is friendly with those he knows. Like many Jack Russell mixes, Cooper is intelligent and sensitive, forming deep bonds with his person. He can be a bit shy with strangers at first and may react defensively if an unfamiliar person tries to grab or restrain him before he feels safe.

Cooper is looking for an adopter who understands his breed, will respect his boundaries, and will give him the time he needs to build trust. He needs a patient, kind, and committed person who will help him feel safe and loved.
