Meet Smokey! This handsome 2-year-old gentleman is a Cane Corso / Weimaraner mix who weighs around 53 pounds. Smokey came to us as a stray and is now fully vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, and more than ready to shower a loving family with his affection. He's a smart and kind-hearted boy who just wants to be loved and is a total couch potato, ready to snuggle up and watch your favorite shows. He's a quick learner and is incredibly submissive, with not a mean bone in his body. Smokey is affectionate, loyal, and an easygoing companion looking for a cozy place to call his own.
Ideal Home
Smokey would thrive in a home that offers love, patience, and quiet companionship. He'd be happiest in a home with low foot traffic due to his shyness around new people, and he would do well with a doggie companion to play with, as he loves a good game of chase. Smokey would prefer a home without cats.

Smokey is currently in good health and has been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.
Training & Support
Smokey is fully potty trained and walks beautifully on a leash, though he can be a bit nervous around strangers and might bark out of excitement initially. He is easily redirected and will settle into a calm walk once his initial excitement passes. Smokey does have some separation anxiety and will cry for a bit when left alone, but he doesn't destruct anything and eventually calms down. He prefers not to be crated. He would be best suited for a home where someone works from home or is only away for a few hours a day, though he does well if left to free roam.
