Bullseye is a charming 6.5-month-old Retriever/Pit Bull mix with an estimated DOB of January 2026. Weighing around 40 pounds, he's expected to grow into a large, gentle companion. Bullseye was rescued with his mother and siblings from a rural dumping area in Texas and has since been lovingly fostered in Houston. He's described as the strong, silent type of the litter – more observant than his boisterous siblings, but just as eager for cuddles and playtime. He enjoys dinnertime, belly rubs, and snuggling up with his favorite people. Bullseye is potty-trained, though he may have a few accidents as he adjusts to a new home and routine. He's a thoughtful and calm presence, making him a wonderful potential loyal companion.
Ideal Home
Bullseye would thrive in a home where someone is around for most of the day, as he benefits from regular potty breaks, exercise, and interaction. We strongly prefer a home with another friendly, well-mannered dog to help Bullseye learn appropriate social skills and boundaries. If you don't have a resident dog, please outline your plan for ongoing socialization and training.
Ongoing Health
Bullseye is a healthy young dog who has received all age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming. He has also been microchipped and neutered.
Training & Support
Bullseye is continuing to build confidence with leash walking and basic obedience. He has been raised with his littermates and enjoys playing with other dogs. He has also been around children and has done well. Ongoing positive reinforcement, consistency, and continued leash practice will help him thrive. Continued socialization with new people, places, and friendly dogs is crucial for his development.
