Kenai

Kenai is a precious 2-4 year old mixed breed who has been through so much. She was found as a stray dragging a chain and trap, and upon rescue, it was discovered that a foothold trap had caused extensive injuries to her leg, requiring amputation. Despite her harrowing ordeal, Kenai is a sweet, gentle, friendly, loving, and smart girl who is taking her recovery and learning to be a tripod in stride. She gets along well with other dogs.

Kenai's front leg was amputated due to injuries sustained from a trap. She is now a happy tripod and continues to recover.

Training & Support

Like all rescue dogs, Kenai will need ongoing training and socialization to help her thrive in her new home.

Transporation

Kenai is located in South Carolina and transport to the Northeast is available weekly. Applicants not located along the East Coast should be willing to travel to pick up their pet. Local or virtual meet-and-greets are available with an application on file.
