Haizly

Haizly is a sweet, pretty, and calm girl who can be a little shy at first. It takes her a moment to warm up to new people, but once she knows you, she is all about the attention and treats! She occasionally gets the zoomies, which is always fun to see.

Haizly was picked up as a stray, found hanging out under a truck. She was a little hesitant at first, but thankfully she is food-motivated and was willing to approach so we could bring her in. While she seems healthy overall, we discovered she had been shot with a .22 long rifle, and the lead was still in her jaw area. Her wound has been cleaned, and she has started medication to help her heal both physically and mentally.

She spent some time with a temporary foster and we learned a lot more about her. Haizly is house-trained, rides well in the car, and walks nicely on a leash. She was also good with the foster's dogs after a proper introduction. Haizly is spayed, vaccinated, and approximately 4-5 years old, meaning she has plenty of love to give for years to come!
